A big Change starts with a small idea and a lot of heart.

Our story

As a military family with young children and not only young children but a son on the autism spectrum, I quickly realized that while I needed to work, I also needed to be able to take care of my children at the same time. I had a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Safety. Years as an EMT working in multiple states and a schedule that was no longer conducive to raising children let alone in a wholesome way. Then to boot my son needed extra attention and therapies due to his autism. So, I dug into my roots. My grandmother was a gardener. Her parents were farmers and the ancestry just goes on. I gardened every year with a lot of success and then, an idea was born. What if I turned my passion for plants into a home business. Then the idea of what if I grew AND SOLD PRODUCE? What if we did charity t-shirts where each purchase is not only helping our business grow but, it also allows us to donate to an organization or need we saw in our communities. What if we connected the Airforce base here with smaller towns and their small businesses and communities? Then came the chickens!!!! The ideas were endless. Then each idea kept building into the model I am still developing today. We are starting plants in our garage and new things are starting every day!! We wouldn’t be able to do any of it without community support and love from not just our military families but also our local small towns like Glenwood, Iowa! We have lots of learning and lots to establish but each step is a journey and by doing this right my family here gets to follow us every step of the way in every corner of the US. Military families, we develop relationships everywhere we get stationed, so the outreach is endless. Come watch us GROW! Support small business and military families alike!!!
